Invisalign® – Invisible Braces in Little Rock, Arkansas

Perfect for patients who want to straighten their smiles without the inconvenience of metal braces, Smile Arkansas offers Invisalign® invisible braces at the office of Dr. Wyant. Invisalign®, the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces, uses a series of clear, removable plastic appliances called aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each Invisalign® invisible braces aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have adjusted into the final position that Dr. Wyant has prescribed. Generally, our Invisalign® patients visit our Little Rock, Arkansas office every six weeks to ensure that treatment is progressing as planned.

How does Invisalign® work?

A computer model is generated from custom-made impressions of your teeth. Align Technology, the company that created Invisalign® invisible braces, takes information collected at our Little Rock office and uses its advanced proprietary 3-D imaging software to create a graphical representation of Dr. Wyant’s treatment plan, almost like an animated movie of the way your teeth will move from the current alignment to the final desired position. Dr. Wyant will analyze how your teeth will work with these invisible braces (using internet technology at his Little Rock, Arkansas practice). Afterwards, Align Technology produces a series of unique, custom-made clear plastic aligners that correspond to the stages of tooth movement shown in the 3-D movie.
