Dr. Jahon Zehtaban, or Dr. Z, is a native of Little Rock, AR and has been practicing dentistry back in his hometown since 2017. After attending Little Rock Central High School, Dr. Z went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. After undergraduate studies he then went to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center for Dental school where he graduated with Honors.
Since receiving his DDS, Dr. Z has studied with the Facial Beauty Institute, the AADSM (American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine), and the AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and has completed training in Advanced Cosmetics, TMD therapy, Controlled Arch Orthodontics, Growth Guidance, and Sleep dentistry. Whether it is making appliances to help people sleep or a smile makeover, Dr. Z loves all aspects of dentistry and understands the importance of comprehensive oral health both physically and mentally.
Dr. Z also enjoys giving back to the community and volunteers at the Shepherds Hope Free Dental Clinic twice a month. When he is not at Smile Arkansas or in the dental chair you can find Dr. Z spending time with his wife, Shannon, their two pets, Reese and Fitz, or on the golf course or pickleball courts.
